Suitability
Alloy 33-25 is a free-machining copper-beryllium alloy with a 2% (min) lead addition. With good hot working and excellent cold working properties, the superb machinability characteristics of the alloy make Alloy 33-25 an improved option over Alloy 25. Alloy 33-25 is forged at temperature ranging from 649 to 816°C (1200 to 1500°F).
