Stainless Steel Strip

Stainless steel flat strip products are ideal for use in the production of pressed components as this material form can be machine fed. A stainless steel strip is similar to a sheet with a thickness range between 0.2mm and 6mm. However, strip products are much narrower. Benefits of Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is a popular engineering product, and use of this material in engineering is commonplace. With excellent corrosion resistance and superior machining capabilities, stainless steel strips find widespread use across industry. Typical applications include market sectors such as automotive, HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), chemical, food processing, refrigeration and construction.

Different Uses

Each grade offers different performance characteristics. Examples include 301 stainless strip, which is an austenitic grade used in the forming of springs without the need for further heat treatment. 304 stainless is non-magnetic in the annealed state and is used in stampings and drawn parts.
